I guess I was out of the loop, but I just found out that my two politcal hack senators from Texas just voted against Coburn's amendment to the new spending bill that will have prevented the US from giving Northrop Grumman a check for $500 million. Even though the company already received a $500 million payment from the insurance company, and is sueing for millions more.

So hats off to Tom Coburn for showing fiscal conservatism, and a boo hiss to the hacks from Texas.
