Here is how it works. The U.S. Government is all but bankrupt. We borrow around 3 Billion dollars everyday from other countries. This has been going on for some time.

Don't let anyone kid you, at the international level the big boys are not stupid and you had better have something to back up your loans. What does the U.S. use to back up it's loans? Land, resources and infilstructure. That is why the U.S. governments is the largest land holder in this country. It is also why we have sold harbors and gave away the Panama Canal.

So the problem is keeping people from useing the resourses. Thats where environmental groups come in. They are funded by these same people pluddering this country. The only way the U.S. can get the rights back is to pay off the loans to whoever holds the paper. The U.S. isn't paying anyone back. They can barely pay the interest on all the debt. The countries holding the loan papers of course have agreements protecting their investments and don't want people taking the timber, coal, oil or whatever is on top or below the ground.

So today you can see just how a country finally collects on a defaulted loan.

There is an oil field right off the Florida coast. This oil field also goes into Cuba's waters. You could drill into the oil field over here or in Cuba. So we cannot drill for the oil...why? Because of the envirermental groups. That is total hogwash, like Bush gives a (*)(*)(*)(*) what the envirermental groups say. So now the Cubans are going to let China get the oil.

It sounds insane but not when you think about how our government already sold the rights to the oil just to keep this country afloat, then it makes sense why we just sit here doing nothing. We have no choice.
