Did this story die on the vine? Did they let her off the hook because she is a minority?

Well I read where Cynthia signed on to a bill honoring Capitol Police, so maybe they are going to let her assault of an officer be swept under the carpet.

No kidding. What happened to that ugly growl she had about how those capitol police are racist and singled her out just because she is black? Why would she sponsor a group of people who had mistreated her?

Considering how fast it went from outrage to almost nothing..I'm going to have to say she got away with it.
Someone somewhere caved into some form of pressure.

Now get a WHITE FEMALE CONGRESSWOMAN to smack a BLACK MALE SECURITY OFFICER....and watch the hypocricy.
I wonder if "That Boy touched me" will fly then..............

A black woman where I work, who also happens to be a dwarf, was caught having embezzled almost 100,000 from the payroll dept. She did this over about a 10 year period w/o getting caught. Anyway, the black leaders of our area all got together to work on her behalf and it ended up she was never arrested, in fact it never even made it to the press, no charges, nothing. She lost her job was all that happened. In fact I'm told by someone who would know, who still works in that area, that she didn't even have to pay it back! I'd still be sitting in the Federal Pen.

the media when you need them. I blame the media for this one. They
choose the stories to pursue and obviously think an assault on a police officer by a member of congress, is small potatoes. It can't be because the public isn't interested. What kind of message is being sent if she isn't prosecuted? Privileged people don't have to obey laws.

Now this is no biggie. I want to know WHY these reporters are not giving us any follow up on the investigation which supposedly started 2 months ago. Are they all being bought off? That's impossible of course. SOMETHING has to be known or decided one way or the other by now.
