What part of breaking the law don't you understand?

Not one person I know of has said they want no immigrants. It is not about people immigrating here, it is about an out of control border, with 10's of millions of unaccountable people coming through.

Name one country on planet earth that has an open border policy. There is a reason for it and it isn't some pie in the sky mumbo jumbo you are spewing. It is not a democratic thing or a republican thing, IT IS AN AMERICAN THING!!!!!

Our nation can't sustain that amount of uncontrolled influx of immigrants. If it was about being selfish on my part, I would say let them all come, because I am 55 years old and want my social security to be there when I retire, and we would never get it with the pathetically lazy American youth, who think picking fruit or working in fast food is somehow demeaning. (Yes I did pick tomatoes when I was a kid and worked in fast food).

Funny, i never seem to have difficulties finding a neighbor kid to mow my lawn. And none of them are illegals, either. Wonder why they're willing to mow my lawn for peanuts?

They may be hard-working and respectful, but they are not honorable. They are taking, by theft, what they are not entitled to. Last I heard, stealing and lawbreaking are NOT honorable. They know, too, that they are not here legally, and they live in constant fear because of that knowledge.

Whose post is the voice of reason? I sure hope you weren't suggesting yours. Do we really need to explain to you the difference between the LEGAL immigrants that were Irish, Italian, etc versus the ILLEGAL immigrants that we are addressing here? I know the extreme left likes to make excuses for law breakers. Is this part of that or just something new?

Do you also need an explanation of legal immigrants and how they pay taxes versus the illegals who are largely net users of services? Or how illegals represent a significant chunk of the prison system in California? Your comparison is apples and aardvarks.

These guys are professionals and do a vastly superior job than any kid would. Today, they are taking up all the spring flowers I had planted, cleaning out the beds, planting summer flowers and mulching the beds. They're also trimming all the shrubbery and the tree in the backyard. I hire them because they are good at what they do. Most of my neighbors also hired them when they saw how nice my yard looked. The owner of the company is Hispanic but a US citizen. The men he hires are mostly illegals. Being an illegal migrant worker does not make one any less honorable in my eyes, or the eyes of God.

None that I can think of. As I've already posted, I'm for sealing our borders and allowing for no further illegal migration into the US. On the other hand, I'm for doing nothing relative to the illegals already here. It's a waste of resources and impractical.

Pretty much for what I just said. They're already here. They're working. There's nothing we can do about it from a pragmatic standpoint once this is the case. What we can do is seal our borders so no more migrants come to the US illegally.

I can only comment based on my experiences here in Texas, and they are working, doing jobs no one else would do. Like I said, if we sealed our borders, the labor supply would decline and wages would increase, thus enabling all the opportunity of working a "cheap labor" job. I just don't see punishing hard work as a viable option.

Think again. It isn't just Mexicans and others seeking work crossing our out of control borders. Those that doubt this have been drinking way too much Evian (Naive). Our government will just about as good a job on our borders as they did in the Katrina hurricane, I have all the confidence in the world in them.

Al-Qaida has smuggled tactical nuclear weapons and uranium into the U.S. across the Mexican border and is planning to launch a major terrorist attack using a combination of nukes and dirty nukes, according to an interview with Osama bin Laden's biographer, Hamid Mir, in WorldThreats.com.

The information confirms reports previously published in Joseph Farah's G2 Bulletin and in a new book by Paul L. Williams, "Dunces of Doomsday."

"I came up with this conclusion after eight years of investigation and research in the remote mountain areas of Afghanistan and Pakistan. I traveled to Iraq, Iran, Sudan, Syria, Uzbekistan and Russia and met dozens of people," Mir said. "I interviewed not only al-Qaida operatives but met scientists and top U.S. officials also. I will have the details in my coming book. At least two al-Qaida operatives claimed that the organization smuggled suitcase nukes inside America. But I have no details on who did it. But I do have details about who smuggled uranium inside America and how."

Mir claims his information is based not only on what al-Qaida operatives, including bin Laden and Ayman al-Zawahiri, told him, but also upon his own independent research as a journalist. Mir says his upcoming book, a biography of bin Laden, will disclose al-Qaida's nuclear attack plans.

"As far as I know, they smuggled three suitcase nukes from Russia to Europe," Mir says about al-Qaida. "They smuggled many kilos of enriched uranium inside America for their dirty bomb projects. They said in 1999 that they must have material for more than six dirty bombs in America. They tested at least one dirty bomb in the Kunar province of Afghanistan in 2000. They have planned an attack bigger than 9-11, even before 9-11 happened. Osama bin Laden trained 42 fighters to destroy the American economy and military might. Nineteen were used on 9-11, 23 are still 'sleeping' inside America waiting for a wake-up call from bin Laden."

Mir said al-Qaida operatives told him that tactical nuclear weapons were smuggled over the Mexican border before Sept. 11, 2001.

Mir said again he believes al-Qaida may use its nuclear arsenal after the U.S. attacks Iran in an effort to stop its nuclear weapons program.

"This is my opinion," he says. "No al-Qaida leader has ever admitted that they are working with Iran. I also think that, maybe, the Iranians will organize some attacks inside America and you will accuse al-Qaida."

Asked why al-Qaida hasn't used nuclear weapons it already possesses, Mir said: "They are waiting for the proper time. They want the U.S. to be involved in a mass killing of Muslims, so that they will have some justification. That is what I was told by a top al-Qaida leader in the Kunar Mountains of Afghanistan."

Mir made similar comments in an earlier interview with G2 Bulletin.

Hamid Mir's credibility skyrocketed when he accurately predicted in G2 Bulletin last month the imminent release of a new recorded communiqué from bin Laden through al-Jazeera, the Arabic TV network. Two days later, bin Laden's tape was the focus of international news coverage.

"If you think that my information and analysis about bin Laden's location is correct," said Mir, "then please don't underestimate my analysis about his nuclear threat also."
