I can see it now - Barney Fife chasing a girly-man with smilies plastered all over his backside, down the street......
Man, thanks for that image Barn. You made my day. Gotta run now, we have a gig at the pier tonight. We might temporarily change the name of our band to "The Smilies" in your honor. Come down and see us, we'll get you backstage if you like. I'll be the guy with the "Acoustic" t-shirt (the 70's bass amp logo). |

Barney fails to admit or doesn't even know is the U.S. has been monitoring all U.S. bank accounts for years. They started this under the false pretenses that they were looking for large cash transactions from drug dealers. Every transaction over $10,000 dollars had to be reported to the government. That was a long time ago and who knows how low they have set the amount today.
What have we got for this snooping? Nothing. Just read your papers and you will see they are not busting any high level drug dealers. If by chance you see a bust it is probably someone who isn't paying a cut to the CIA. My guess is the information is passed along to big corporations to let them know who might be getting into position to give them competition so they can pull the rug out from underneath them. Same goes for the terrorist. I don't see any terrorist being busted because of this or anything else for that matter. Since the terrorist are doing exactly what the U.S. wants them to do and most of the terrorist are trained by the CIA it's just corporate spying as far as I can tell.

Classic.
A Communist telling other about not stepping on freedom. Funny enough all by itself... ..but then having a far lefty thanking the Communis for shoveling BS while at the same time pointing to Thomas Jefferson a man who was in no way dumb enough to believe a newspaper should be allowed to betray the nation during war. |
