Default New World Disorder

I started talking about the "New World Order" under Political Opinions http://www.politicalforum.com/viewto...=asc&&start=32
but then I saw this!

----------------------------------------------------------------------

http://worldnetdaily.com/news/articl...TICLE_ID=50981

"THE NEW WORLD DISORDER
U.S.-Mexico merger opposition intensifies
Some see secret efforts to scrap dollar, end U.S. sovereignty, combine nations"

"WASHINGTON – Are secret meetings being held between the corporate and political elites of the U.S., Mexico and Canada to push North America into a European Union-style merger?

Is President Bush's reluctance to control the border and enforce laws requiring deportation of foreigners who enter the country illegally part of a master plan to all but eliminate borders between the U.S., Canada and Mexico?

Does the agenda of the Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America include a common currency that would scrap the dollar in favor of what some are calling the "amero"?

It may be the biggest story of the 21st century, but few press outlets are telling it. In fact, until very recently, few in the U.S. were aware of the plans and even fewer denouncing what appears to be the implementation of an effort some have characterized as "NAFTA on steroids."

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

http://www.theconservativevoice.com/article/15476.html

"Canada, the United States, and Mexico... a possible merger?"

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I can't believe it!
Neo-cons support this?????!!!!!

Not only are they supporting it they have been busy implementing it since the middle 90's. You must not have seen this thread I started a while back.

No I didn't see your thread until just now.

Building Highways is one thing, merging money is another

I provided two links, one from what I believe to be a more liberal site, the other is definitely conservative. The bottom line, both articles are against this.

Here's another thing that concerns me;

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Senator Arlen Specter (R-PA) to Congress:

"President Uribe said he would consider having Colombian workers have microchips implanted in their bodies before they are permitted to enter the US for seasonal work," he said.

The RFID (Radio Frequency ID) VeriChip tag is trying to gain momentum, and in my opinion, raises serious privacy concerns. I've written on the subject in an earlier article, Technology...a blessing and a curse, and I'm leery of the government tracking me, or tagging me as if I were livestock.

Right now, keeping track of immigrants through the VeriChip has only been relegated to an idea, but a scary one nonetheless. This could be a possibility for immigrants, but imagine what could be proposed in the future for those who are citizens.

That's a slippery slope.

I dont have a problem with the microchip thing for non-citizens.

Consider it a requirement for the privillage of working here. I dont think it is unreasonable...we have to be able to track foreigners within our borders. I think it is a good idea. This way they have ID with them wherever they go.

I do have a problem with this.

Once you open the door, you can't stop it. Next thing you know, the government will want to implant them in children, for their safety of course, then the sick, the elderly. etc. It seems demeaning to do this to humans.

I knew this wacky neo-cra p was out there but I never heard about the "money merger" plan until today. If this scenario actually comes to life, how would this effect the US economy?

Here's something else that I find confusing. It seems like most conservatives are against open borders, I can understand that. What I don't understand is how they can support the Bush Administrations Neo-Conservative plans, they certainly don't include closed borders. I'm not sure who's conservative and who's a neo-con anymore.
