John McCain doesn't need the help.....like Al Gore's Dad did. Gore Sr. was anti-Viet Nam war and took some flack for that. And that's why the son tried to save him politically.

I respect the McCain family's show of support for the war by enlisting into battle. I'm surprised more pro-war senators can't seem to persuade their children to fight for such a righteous cause.

John McCain Republican in name only. McCain is a socialist Republican. Even recently he joined forces with Senator Kennedy in an unholey alliance to import 50 million Mexican slaves to do jobs Americans would do if we'd stop importing cheap labour and keeping everyones wages artificially low.

Its not so much the fact that one of his sons is likely* to be deployed into a warzone...thtas fine.

I mainly posted this becasue of its clear implications in a presidential run.

It removes a significant vein of rhetoric from the Democrats.
They will now have to actually do somehting like offer realistic ideas instead of simply bashing McCain because he is a Hawk..even then I don't think anyone really stands a chance in hell of beating McCain other then Republicans being IDIOTS and nominating someone else.
