Conservative pundits turn on Bush

How long before the feeding frenzy begins, as Congressmen throw Bush overboard to save their own hides in 2006 and conservatives throw him overboard to try to improve prospects for 2008?

Joe Scarborough seems pretty honest to me. He's been speaking out against many of the Bush Administration policies for a while now. Same goes for Lou Dobbs except Dobbs is more brutal than Joe.

I read the entire article and I took it as Scarborough wants the W handliers to keep him away from the press so that he doesn't say anything that could be considered "stupid" or "inappropriate" for the internation crowd.

Scarborough still things that W is bright but that he needs to be controlled much better.

Scarborough turned into a liberal as soon as they gave him a tv show. The talk show programs are so competitive, some feel they must do stunts to "stir" things up. Joe strikes me as someone who is mostly interested in making a buck for his show and getting noticed.

I have not watched much of the Scar in the last year but I don't see him as a "liberal". Maybe an opportunist but so is VANNITY !!!

What are some of his "liberla" positions JP?

Scarborough must have forgotten to say one night the W is the smartestest, bestestetest, goodist, and most lovable Prez we ever had. Or maybe JP found out that Scarborough failed to sing " HAPPY BIRTHDAY MR. President , WE ALL LOVE YOU Mr. President, HAPPY BIRTHDAY to you"

Granted, his positions are mostly conservative. But he describes himself as a moderate. He criticizes both parties.....now that he's not in office, but a political commentator. And he's on MSNBC; that ought to tell you something. I can't point to anything in particular....other than to say that a lot of the time I flip onto his program for a bit, it always seems like he's taking the position against the conservatives. But maybe he's just trying to get a good debate going. I don't know.

And the ONLY reason that libs/Dems on this thread are applauding him is because they think he's blasting Bush. Istn't that right? Did any of you like him when he was saying nice things about Bush?
