Default hoof-in-mouth disease

"We're not leaving as long as I'm the President".

Default You can't say he's not direct

Could this statement be the reason many republicans are beginning to distance themselves from the president?

Default I believe that the e W was told to say that for external use

nonsqtr says

Thoughts?
I believe that the little W was told to say that PRIMARILY for external consumption to assure the so called Iraqi government and to adivsie the fighting factions that there is no time line, not yet antways, not until there is a presidential change and then only maybe sort of......

FDR was Elected to 4 terms... He just didn't finish the 4th.

Try reading the 22nd Amendment for your explanation of why Bush cannot have a 3rd Term.

Gaar

They'd be opening a Constitutional Convention to do it, and that leaves windows of opportunity for the baby-butchers to get Roe v Wade implanted at that level. (Assumes a bit, I know, but this was the biggest issue they want mandated. I in turn welcome it to force a national referendum on total banning of legalized infanticide.)

More worrisome is mandated curbs on military activity overseas. The right combination of RINOS and Donks could open a ConCon and pack the propositions with something like Japan's Self-Defence Forces had (until relatively recently until changed by referendum).

Stopping at our own national borders is of course unlikely. We'd simply have to farm the jobs out to others we can't entirely control---and wind up like we have with both Iraq and Iran.

No. Don't open that three-term door unless you want another unanointed king who tries to pack Supreme Courts, or allows guests like Madame Chang-Kai Shek to follow the First Lady into the map room during an active war, and see the nice maps up on the wall. Eleanor Roosevelt did that. The Dems and their Chinese Communism bunk-muffins never said a word.

Don't give Donks a chance for twelve unbroken years helping drag the right-bound pendulum to the bottom of its arc, and start yanking us headlong into an isolationist country with no clients for goods we cannot sell to feed people we cannot employ or ultimately cannot feed.

We have enough farmland and domestic timber-growth to adequately feed and house America. Textiles though might be trickier if trade is cut off by a concerted effort by foreign sellers, trying to re-open our borders. We might wind up wearing next to nothing. (Hee hee.) But no, keep our borders open. Everyone loses if we have to use resellers not already determined to buy in mass quantities. We give up too much margin cutting in more sellers.
