the other reason it seemed strange to me from the very begining was because this was not long after US under Clinton famously "helped" muslims and Islamic KLA to "save" them from "bad" christian Serbs... (if anyone remembers destruction of Yugolsavia, Milosevic...)

That's a very fair question actually BnD. I have some questions too, but there is overwhelming evidence that it was carried out by Muslems ...

1) Muslems have targeted the World Trade Center before.

2) All 19 hijackers where Muslem.

3) The 20th hijacker, a Muslem, on trial in Alexandria VA, admited to prior knowledge and to the fact that it was done in the name of Allah.

4) Al Jazeera just came out with a tape it claims is authentic of OBL meeting with the hijackers before 09-11-01 and giving his blassing.

This, once again does not mean that all Muslems are terrorists. However, there is a reason that Islam spawns this type of behavior.

well those muslims were actually al qaida which is sponsored by israel.

Oh, Bushndick. We supplied and helped train thousands of mujahadeen to fight the Soviets. They weren't trained to be CIA agents.

Then after the Soviets left we lost interest. Having helped radicalize a generation of Muslims, and then left them to rot, we were surprised when they turned on us.

There's a lesson there, but "OBL is a CIA agent" isn't one of them.
