Default Big Mistake for Kerry

Hmmm. Very interesting. Wasn't aware the man was working in cahoots with John Kerry. Big mistake for Kerry. BIG mistake.

As your article says.....Soros' speeches are regularly featured on al Jazeera. The terrorists like the man and what he says. That will be a BIG Mistake for Kerry. Soro's is FOR gun control and FOR a greater and stronger United Nations. Like Kerry, he's an internationalist. That doesn't fare so well with Americans.

BIG, BIG, BIG MISTAKE FOR JOHN F. KERRY to associate himself with this guy in any way.

Default Big money

All that, of course, has made him a target for Republicans and campaign finance reformers who consider him as a shadowy figure trying to have an outsize influence. "George Soros has purchased the Democratic Party," said Christine Iverson, a spokeswoman for the Republican National Committee.

Mr. Soros says his motive is not power or position, but the decades and $4 billion he has spent to promote civil liberties in former authoritarian regimes. As a child, he survived the Holocaust in his native Hungary by adopting an assumed identify and, later, he slipped away from the Communists. Those experiences shaped his world view, both as a financier betting on uncertainty and as a philanthropist.

Mr. Soros hardly minces words in his view that the United States is headed in a dangerous direction.

"The government of the most powerful country on earth has fallen into the hands of extremists," he said, referring to neoconservatives influential in the administration. "It didn't take long," he added, "for the Bush administration to get off the rails and produce disastrous results."

Default uh - - yah.

Sedy is right - - who didn't know that Soros has given GOBS of cash to Moveon.org and another 527c I can't remember the name of? His money is what has the Repignicans SO upset tha tthey are trying to get the 527s stopped in sourt - - what that will do to THEIR 527s and 501cs is to be determined, I guess.

What I LOVE is Soros' statement that he doesn't think he needs to spend much mroe money because he's confident the idiot-in-chief will lose in November.

Default And the point is...

There are really rich folks who give to Repubs.

There are really rich folks who give to Dems.

There are really rich folks who give to some third parties.

Why is Soros any different? Why is this a news story?

Because he's a foreigner? He's not the only one.

Then why?

I'm interested in him in the way one would be interested in a good gambler. In spite of his detractors the man influences what he is involved with. His track record is of success. Again not in term of good bad right wrong.

Unfortunately the man doesn't expose the insights that determine the choices that he makes but more than not, like it or not, the dudes got insights.

When you find out, let me know.

In the mean time don't sell short what he says....many have and have regreted it.
