Default How Much Money Has Bush Spent of that $200 Mil?

http://www.boston.com/news/politics/...as_spent_126m/

Bush has blown through $126 mil of that $200 mil raised as of May 21, 2004 and he's still behind. lol

No wonder the Repubs seem to have gotten a little quiet lately. They must be feeling a bad case of heartburn coming on.

Guess Bush and the Republicans are going to find out this year that money can't buy enough votes to re-elect an incompetent President.

Default Can you imagine

Think about what it's like to put all your money on a junk yard horse, then put him into the race? But no matter how hard you beat him on the a$s, he just keeps on chugging along at a snales pace.

Here's the Republicans: "Hey, toss some more money at him, maybe he'll run faster."

Nope.

Default Not that it matters

but most polls show them even. And no poll is more irrelevant than Presidential polls. First of all polls show that blacks do not like either chandidate and many pundits feel they will not vote at all. This is not good for Kerry yet it's not included in the polling numbers. Also, they don't poll voters they poll everyone. Lastly, as we found out the last election, the popular vote doesn't matter, what matters is the electoral vote. If you want to see the likelihood of results you need state by state polling.

Man you got that right. Isn't that the new Republican Motto? I'm pretty sure I heard that somewhere.

Default Funny thing is

Before the last election many many people felt Bush had the popular vote, but wouldn't win enough electoral votes. The dems at the time said essentially "well that's the system we have." They sure didn't say that afterwards when the reverse happened!

Sorry -- those days are gone... All you have is that Chimp in the window.

Can't you find someone else to run?

Default Actually yes

Unlike the dem party there are several candidates that would get people excited (Giuliani and Romney being two of the bigger ones). But another facet of the system we have is the incumbent gets the nod.

I would really be hard pressed to vote for Kerry over McCain. But voting for Kerry over Bush is not a difficult decision at all.

I think that is becoming the rule, not the exception.

But alas, I think you are right. We all have to live with the big gamble. You with your guy, Bush, and me with mine, Kerry.

It would be so much easier to hedge... I take a little of the right, you take a little of the left and the chance for disaster would be limited.
