Default media: CHINA (not bush) embarassed by NK nuke test

i find it interesting that i heard so many times on CNN/BBC that China is "embarassed" by North Koreas nuke test, since i am almost SURE it was USA who were playing the world policeman making sure terrorists do not acquire weapons.... so so so interesting.... CHINA.... hmmmm, i trying to remember when china was playing a policeman??? can not.... but all im hearing last 7 days is about how china has been so embarassed by NK nuke tests.....

China is the nation that is propping the thug up. That is why China is critical in any talks with the little maniac.

Exactly.
China and South Korea are the only nations that can put meaningful sanctions on North Korea... because they are the only ones with close ties. Of course they also put the most at stake in sanctioning NK.

But props to whoever thought of that luxury sanction! Now the rest of the world can at least deprive that wacko of his hedonistic pleasures.

you (as the media) still fail to explain to me HOW/WHY is it that china is "embarassed" by this test when it is USA that should be embarassed?????

China was embarrased because of their supportive relationship with North Korea. They have supported them and defended them and are considered their closest ally. Of course, they were embarrased that North Korea tested a nuke.

Default .

If I were China I wouldn't care. After all, it's not like NK is going to bomb me.

Default Doesn't match reality

I would be surprised if China has suddenly developed an international conscience so as to be embarrassed at anything. For an embarrassed nation they certainly do not go out of their way to remedy the situation.

More idle speculation by pundits, I believe.
