Default Reagan passes away

A sad day.

Also, too bad he couldn't hold out until after the November elections. We could've had 6 members in the Surviving Ex-Presidents™ Club

Default Sad day...

Coming out of the Viet Nam era as president, he was a leader who believed in America and got Americans to believe in themselves again. Not terribly popular in his first term, he was hugely popular at the end of his second term. He will be greatly missed.

Default A Dem. Perspective...

I have no verification, but...

He was a great leader. I'll never forget being a six year-old and how he came on and talked about the Challenger explosion.

I disagee with Reagan, but I think he understood America, and gave us a purpose... at a hard time.

...

I'm literally weeping thinking about how his life ended.

Default sad day

A sad day indeed. The loss of a president is always sad

But look at how CNN and FOX cover his death. The differences are subtle, but I was shocked at the ever-so-slight spin each respective network puts on his life. Where will it stop?

FOX: America Mourns Death of 'Great Communicator'

CNN: Reagan dies with children at his bedside. Reagan . . . will be remembered as the man who launched the modern-day conservative political movement with the "Reagan Revolution.”

He was the first president I voted for (twice). How sad is this day! RIP, Mr. President.

Default Reagan...

I think that Reagan really was the man to heal the wounds of Vietnam...

We're a young nation.

...

He was a Goldwater Republican.
