So much for the "We support the troops but not the war" phony bologna rhetoric. In a speech made from California yesterday, Lurch revealed his loathing for the military by insulting the troops stationed in Iraq. Lurch evidently missed the memo given to all the far left demos, telling them to go into hiding until after the election. Thanks, Lurch. Keep up the good work. Republicans need you now more than ever.

On Monday, Kerry belittled the educational level of US troops, when he said to the assembled students: “You know education, if you make the most of it, you study hard, you do your homework, and you make an effort to be smart, you can do well. If you don’t, you get stuck in Iraq.”

Really, telling students to get better educated for the future is somehow an insult to American troops? But letting over 100 die in October somehow is patriotic?
Someone's priorities are all screwed up -- you don't honor American soldiers by telling kids not to get educated nor do you honor American soldiers by putting them in a quagmire so they are shooting ducks. But Republicans can keep right on rah rah rahing the Iraqi war and it'll bite them in the butt when the American people have their say next Tuesday. |

Kaladrew listens to Hannity AND Rush. Too funny.
The spin is on as we post. I just heard that Kerry "misspoke". Sorry, idiot. You just said clearly that the troops don't study hard, do their homework or make an effort to be smart - that you can do well OR get stuck in Iraq. Oh, he's getting ready to hold a news conference - Kerry's unlimited arrogance on parade.

Taken out of context. He was referring to George W (stuck with his Iraq war.) He never mentioned the troops. This is typical smearing from the GOP chicken-hawks. Kerry is going to address this issue personally this afternoon.
BTW, I heard that Kerry made a couple of smart remarks/jokes about Bush, this one was just one of them. I'd like to see the entire transcript or video rather than a quick clip.

Prove that he meant the troops 12th. He never said "troops"
