Thank you for a pleasant reply. I gained a lot of incite into the nature of Christian faith from it. I think we agree on most everything, especially the idea that Christian is one who follows Jesus, not simply one who joins the Christian religion. That's my main point. So many Christians, including perhaps this Texas governor, seem to think otherwise-- that all it takes to be Christian is to join Chritianity, and that all others are doomed regardless of personal deeds. This type of thinking is very dangerous and needs to be stated more clearly by Christian leaders.
