gmb92 complains about BIAS in our foreign policy..HELLO what is thie pre-school of course there is bias.
He says he has no concerns about appeasing the extremists then lists off some of their problems as us being bad for doing them.
We knew they were there before they admitted it. A friend of mine personaly encountered and killed one there, and a few Iranians too.(suprise suprise!!)

Default Extremism

1 - name one truly free country that Islam has not targeted or spoken out against and threatened violence against....
Examples: Sweden, Norway, Switzerland, Mexico

Yep, they must hate our freedom just like we hate their beards.

Quote:
The fact is, radical ideaology is what creates terrorism, it is NOT the result of bitterness.
And what creates radical ideology? What prompts a nation to irrationally overract to a terrorist attack and cause people to hate a religion?

Quote:
Whens the last time you or anyone you know of has dedicated themselves to use violence as a means of acheiving a goal? Civilized people who think rationaly and want peace dont automaticly turn to violence as the first and final response to those whom they have a greivance with.
LOL. Tell that to Bush. "First and final response". Perfect.

I fear your bleeding heart attitude has deluded your sense of jusgement and is keeping you from being able to recognize evil for what it really is.

You would rather make excuses for them than just admit that they are wrong.
That applies to the neocons that you support. No excuses have been made for the actions of terrorists.

2 -Sorry to bust your bubble, but the last election and the war in Iraq have NOTHING to do with "neoconservativism". The election was a combination of things, and some issues weighed more heavily with some people than others. For some the corruption and irresponsible behavior within the GOP motivated them to vote them out. For others it was the continous barrage of negative reporting by the media of primarily negative events in Iraq, which led many people to belive that Iraq was falling apart and is a lost cause, which it isnt.
This is an indication that you are on the cool-aid. Iraq is indeed falling apart, as any expert will indicate. Blaming the media for reporting on reality is counter-productive.

I simply take the time to marvel at how oddly ill informed they are and actually wonder just what sort of understanding they truly have of the world and how they really feel about America.
(1)Speaking of ill informed, I guess you still think that we will be greated as liberators, huh? Maybe you should find some actual facts to support your opinions.

Sure, you are absolutely right that fundamentalist islam preaches against us.

Sure you are absolutely right that preaching the murder of innocents is wrong.

(2)What you are grossly wrong about is that waging war in Iraq is going to change this at all. What you are grossly wrong about is that the war in Iraq is going to make us safer at all.

(3)If you look at what the pre-war analysis was by the most informed people in our government, then look at the actions of Bush, Cheney and Rumsfeld, you will see that this administration ignored the expertise of truely informed people. See:
http://www.thememoryhole.org/state/future_of_iraq/

So now, through gross incompetance and downright ignorance, this administration completely mis-judged the aftermath of the Iraq war. And you seem to think these people are the ones who know what to do now.
1- I dont need "facts" to support anything...I know of several people who are over there and have been there, to inculde my brother, who can vouch for how many of the Iraqis DO appreciate us being there. Unfortunately, you wont hear from them becuase the mainstream media is too busy showing car bombs and sniper videos...

Read this if you dont believe me...

Well I did read it...it hasn't been updated since May 13, 2006 does that mean no good news since then? I mean things haven't been getting better in that hell hole we call Iraq in recent months or haven't you noticed.
