WASHINGTON (AP) - Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice said Friday she is certain the United States has made mistakes in the Iraq war, but the world will have to wait until she is out of government to learn what she thinks they were. "When I'm back at Stanford University," she said, "I can look back and write books about what we might have done differently." -------- That's going to be one fat bunch of books!

Well, in some wars there were a lot more mistakes than in others! The balance sheet on this one is (*)(*)(*)(*) poor.
In related news, Condi says that the sky is blue and getting impaled by a cross bow arrow really hurts. But it's nice that she can see the giant load of crap in the room.

I suppose the big news is that now even the quintessential neo-con is recognizing that there were problems with the way the war was fought.
The statement itself was pretty bland. It's the person that makes it interesting.
