Is this 'news' or 'circus' ? It is reported that "Conservative calls Mary Cheney's pregnancy "unconscionable." Furthermore it is said that 'Conservative leaders voiced dismay Wednesday at news that Mary Cheney, the lesbian daughter of Dick Cheney, is pregnant, " Meanwhile out in the wackadackyl wing of the world gay-rights group are celebrating. It is also reported that the Subaru driving "couple " will move to Virginia where they are planning to welcome the "virgin" birth. I also understand from undisclosed sources in San Fransico that once the "virgin birth" takes place a pilgrimage to Virginia by three Gay wise men who will be bearing wine, and other gifts for the result of end of the pregnancy. Somehow this just not seem as it was sanctioned by the scriptures!!!!!

It was first reported by Washington Post gossip columnists, citing "a source close to the couple."
The same article contained a statement from a vice-presidential spokesman declaring how happy the Veep is. Doesn't feel like an outing.

Although the "family values" crowd within the GOP will whine like a bunch of 12 year old girls, this is really not a huge deal. It doesn't really even put Cheney in much of a political spot. He's not running for anything (thank God), so he can tell everyone to mind their own business and move on. Best of luck to his daughter.
