Only through torture do detainees talk, and each time they provide accurate information that will save the country. Failing to torture is a sign of weakness that puts our country at risk. "24" pushes far right propaganda, injects Fox News into every other scene, and presents an inaccurate and unrealistic view of the world. "24" would work well as a cartoon, but not as a show that tries to pass itself off as realistic, or one that Bush Administration officials should be worshipping each week.

Besides----Dems think that terrorism is way overplayed and part of a fear-mongering scheme. Even if a suitcase nuke goes off in this country, the Dems will STILL think it's all being overplayed to help George W. Bush in some way.
Now, if it happens while a Democrat is president, their entire position will totally flip, of course. All of a sudden, they will WANT the entire country to realize what at threat it is.
