I watched the season premier. The White House is debating whether to detain Muslims. As the president is considering opposing viewpoints, the phone rings. There's been a nuclear attack. How convenient! Suddenly we all are lead to realize the folly of "weak liberal thinking".

Only through torture do detainees talk, and each time they provide accurate information that will save the country. Failing to torture is a sign of weakness that puts our country at risk.

"24" pushes far right propaganda, injects Fox News into every other scene, and presents an inaccurate and unrealistic view of the world. "24" would work well as a cartoon, but not as a show that tries to pass itself off as realistic, or one that Bush Administration officials should be worshipping each week.

Would you expect Fox to portray CNN, or a program on ABC to depict the characters watching NBC news?

A program on TV that isn't realistic? We can't have that!

I only hope it doesn't take away too much of the audience for serial documentaries like CSI and Medium.

Besides----Dems think that terrorism is way overplayed and part of a fear-mongering scheme. Even if a suitcase nuke goes off in this country, the Dems will STILL think it's all being overplayed to help George W. Bush in some way.

Now, if it happens while a Democrat is president, their entire position will totally flip, of course. All of a sudden, they will WANT the entire country to realize what at threat it is.

Since all of their story lines tilted to the left including all of the main characters. Also, there was a movie based on a book about a female VP candidate. The "bad guy" who slandered her was a democrat in the book, but Spielberg (who produced it) insisted that the character be an R instead. That also was a propoganda piece.
