Um, yes. Why wouldn't they be? The raids aren't random; they're targeting immigration violators.

Encouraging to see federal agents cracking down on some of these criminals.

Does anyone remember a certain event during WWII called the extermination of the Jews? What happened was that the Germans outlawed all persons who considered themselves Jewish, and these people were to be treated as criminals whose only crime was living on Nazi-controlled land. These people were deported to concentration camps, and we all know what happened from there.

Now, we may not be as bad as the Nazis, and the illegal immigrants may not suffer as horrible a fate as the Jews. However, most of our current policies are leading down that same line, where people are considered criminals simply because they walked into another country without telling anybody.

I may have misphrased what I said earlier, so let me ask again: is what the US doing just?

I think this is what you meant to say:

Where people are considered criminals simply because they intentionally broke our laws and entered our country illegally.

Jews didn't enter Germany illegally, most for the purpose of sponging off the citizens' money or instututing Sharia law...........and the U.S. isn't instituting wholesale extermination of either illegal Mexicans or illegal Middle-Easterners. So, you fears are not justifiable.

If you propose America stop being a society of laws protecting our culture, property, and sovereignty, then what do you suggest America become instead?

Until they toughen penalties and increase the number of officers to enforce labor laws upon employers the flood will continue unabated. You can bet that the 150 some odd people detained will be back in the states inside of a year or two because they can make more money here working illegally then legally.

yeah. as we all know, illegal immigrants only come here to make a mockery of our laws. that's their only motive, really.

Did I say anything about their motives? I'm sure they come hear for various motives. What I do know is that they are intenionally breaking our laws when they come here illegally.

Do you believe we should not have immigration laws? Do you believe we should ignore those who intentionally break our laws?
