Thread: Rush Limbaugh: U.S. has no chance with Obama

  1. Default Rush Limbaugh: U.S. has no chance with Obama

Rush is right on here folks. The dismal mood America is in right now leads me to believe that if another 4 yrs of this clown head is allowed to prevail, we might as well kiss our own asssses goodbye.

IMO, outside of his own narcissistic fantasies, Obama had a vision that Americans would flock to him and they did. All the liberals did. Their sick love affair with this clown should be a lesson that is taught in every K-12 school as well as on every college campus in America. Hell, it should even be a new class to add to the curriculum - A "How to prevent succumbing to Narcissism" 101.

What really gets me is the fact that these stupid liberals have been through this before. They elect liberals, the liberals they elected let them down, then they vote conservative to make ammends. Then, another liberal comes along, they vote for him, the liberal let's them down, and they start the cycle all over again.

Why can't liberals -- intellectual liberals -- ever learn from history?

PALM BEACH, Fla. – Even as President Obama was holding a news conference today on economic matters, top-rated radio host Rush Limbaugh declared the U.S. simply cannot recover financially as long as Obama remains in power.

    Rush Limbaugh

"As long as Obama's in the Oval Office or on the golf course or in some diner eating greasy hamburgers or in charge of the executive branch, as long as his party controls any part of Congress, this nation cannot recover," Limbaugh said on his program. "We do not have a chance. This country does not have a chance with Barack Obama remaining in the Oval Office."

Limbaugh said the way to increase jobs and growth, opportunity and wealth is through capitalism, not what he claimed the president has been promoting since his inauguration.

"We've just been through 29 months of socialism," Limbaugh said. "It's miserable. It's depressing. It's stifling. It destroys the national mood. We need to contain the government."

Join the "No More Red Ink" campaign today and send letters to all 240 House Republicans on the issue of outrageous American debt today.

He continued: "We Americans are not perfect, but one thing we did that we will pay for for decades to come, and our children and grandchildren will pay for, is the election of a man to the presidency who is historic in the sense of his ignorance, his stubbornness, his incompetence and his contempt for the American system. That's what's historic about Barack Obama, not the color of his skin. We blew it big-time in 2008, and we are going to pay for it for decades. At some point we have to start fixing this."

Limbaugh said Obama has no intention of running for re-election on his record of performance thus far.

"His record is so God-awful, there is no way anyone who's rational could conclude otherwise," he explained.

"To agree with Obama and the ruling class, you have to ignore the trustees who oversee our entitlement programs. You have to ignore the Congressional Budget Office. You have to ignore major credit-rating bureaus. You have to ignore the unemployment, foreclosure and bankruptcy figures. If you want to agree with Obama, you have to ignore everything else you're hearing. You have to assume everybody else is lying and that only Obama is telling the truth. You have to ignore all the measurements and trends rational people look at to determine policies. You have to ignore all of that to agree with Obama."

The host said Americans can expect to see the administration and major media highlighting stories of future financial threats to citizens if Obama's suggestions were not followed.

"They're gonna come forward with a list of horribles, and they're gonna put faces to these lists of horribles. It's gonna start this afternoon," he said. "Eventually, the Republicans probably will cave. I hope not."

In fact, at the president's news conference, Obama asked if Republicans in Congress were willing to deprive college students of scholarships or jeopardize food-safety inspections to keep tax breaks for oil companies and owners of private jets.

Obama said, "If everybody else is willing to take on their sacred cows and do tough things to achieve the goal of real deficit reduction, then I think it would be hard for the Republicans to stand there and say the tax break for corporate jets is sufficiently important that we're not willing to come to the table and get a deal done."

Limbaugh wasn't completely doom and gloom regarding America's future, as he proffered his own solution.

"There is no problem we can't solve in this country if we remove Obama from office [in] the next election and remove his party. There's nothing we can't do. We can fix this. We can solve every problem once we get rid of Obama, get him out of office and get rid of the Democrat Party from positions of power and replace them all – not with Republicans, [but] conservative Republicans. Is there any doubt in your mind whatsoever that a conservative president would know what to do and that a conservative Congress could get it done? Is there any doubt that he would cut spending across the board, cut the job-killing and growth-killing regulations and unleash the private sector including our energy companies? There's no doubt conservative Republicans could do all of this and erase this mess, at least get started erasing it overnight."

Obama's progressive policies have failed America utterly. It's time to ditch him like an ugly blind date, which is largely what he is.
For example, Krispy Kreme (KKD) said in an SEC filing that it has 1,300 workers without coverage who may be entitled to it under ObamaCare at a potential cost of up to $5 million — before actions it might take "to reduce the number of employees subject to the new requirements."

I think President Obama has done fairly well in his first term considering the economy.

But, why do we use economic lessons from the post-WWII era when European populations and industry was destroyed and the USA held a closed, monopoly economy?

Especially now that we're in a Globalized economy where America's workers have the worst, most uncompetitive, least economically attractive position by being attached to the USA which is near the top of the money (GDP/PPP) cost/expense chart?

Here's the thing; most of the country feels that we're in for disaster if the Repugnants take office.

Indeed; most of the country is on welfare and food-stamps; hard to give them up, you know...

Here's the thing: No they don't. As eloquantly demonstrated via the last election cycle.

Did you hear the latest, Don?

    http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2011...-budget-talks/

Here's what I don't get (actually I do) as I'm trying to figure out yet again, the liberal thought processes.

In the link above, Ob-Scam-Artist is calling for "Tax Hikes" (the liberal mantra). And so, since Obama and the rest of Congress in 2008, decided to squander our "Tax Money" on the bailouts, Tarp, and Stimulus that clearly didn't work, what do they plan on doing with this "Tax Hike" money?

    Squander Round 2?

Not a very intellectual thing to do from the most intellectual President we've ever had, now is it?

That you agree with a Rush Limbaugh rant is the best argument that could be made against your position. Therefore this posts ends now

Rush Limbaugh is an armchair general (emphasis on the armchair) and a bad one at that.

After squandering our tax money in the first round, what's he going to do with this round of tax money?
