Default Democrats are really changing things in DC

What a bunch of liars, all this promise of making things happen, and the dem-o-craps are so full of it, they can't get off the toilet.

You are 0 for 6 boys and girls.

They promised accountability. Wanna see witch hunt? Look back to Clinton's hearings.

You reply with an excuse? How novel, "look what they did to Clinton", is your only response. Accountability? You should try it sometime, and hold your representatives accountable.

They will be the do-nothing democrats, just like in California, long on words and short on action.

To be fair, the Dems have the deck stacked against them as far as getting much done, with thin majorities and a Republican president. Senate Republicans are already tying that chamber in knots, as is their right and bipartisan habit of the minority party.

Let the do nothing excuses begin. Yeah, things will change, they're more interested in making sure horrible criminals like Libby go to jail, or the firing of 8 prosecutors, a huge domestic agenda indeed. Like I said, dem-o-crap.

What do expect them to do? Vote with the Democrats? Holding up legislation while you negotiate a tax break for those who have to pay for it is a good idea, IMO.

Hanging this on the Republicans is funny to anyone who's been paying attention.

I'm not blaming the Republicans. I specifically noted that it is a bipartisan habit of the minority party. Dems did it when they were the minority (and Republicans savaged them for it). It's the way things work.

I'm not hanging anything on the Republicans. Just noting that the political realities weigh against the Dems being able to push through much major legislation. Do you disagree?

Do you believe they're trying? The Democrats sure seem busy, but...

Well, they're moving on a lot of things, although much of it is basic "keep the government running" stuff.

Then again, do you expect them to waste significant time on proposals they know will not pass?

Why waste time debating legislation when you can get a lot more press time witchhunting?
