Earlier today I watched Senator McCain on CNN as he told the world (and the Iraqi resistance) that the Commander of the US Armed Forces in Iraq, General Petraeus, drives around Baghdad in an unarmoured Humvee. What an idiot!
Think, for a moment, what the reaction would be if Hillary had blurted this out. |

It's not as if anyone setting out to kill Gen. Petraeus wouldn't figure out what kind of vehicle he drives.
More to the point, McCain was simply wrong. And foolish. And then he backtracked. http://thinkprogress.org/2007/03/28/...n-mccain-iraq/ McCain really isn't to be taken seriously; he's been wrong and alarmist and weak-spined on so many things over the last couple of years that he's going to get tied in knots. If Republicans nominate him they'll essentially be ceding the presidency to whomever the Democrats put up.

I was watching McCain on CNN International at the Gym when he shined on about the General. I was nearly thrown from the treadmill. |

Raytri has just stated that what poor John said was foolish. Dems have said that they approve funding but want accoutability. You know something like thwe NO CHILD LEFT ON HIS BEHIND - where the teachers/admins are supposedly being held to accountability Then Apotro said tha he was almost thrown from the threadmill. A near tragedy avoided I am sure !!!
