But you can't say that our government is 'people'. If we the people had complete discretion over how our tax monies were allocated--then maybe then we could call the government a representation of the 'people', but we don't. Whereas, we the 'people' who freely work and enjoy the benefits of a business or of a corporation have complete discretion over our lives, and over how our monies are allocated. Profits from our businesses and or corporations are further invested in business and in the workers to grow through the company. Tell me or show me how we as individual citizens get to grow or prosper under the tutelage and confiscatory policies of an ever burgeoning socialistic government. With businesses and corporations we the people decide our own futures without waiting on the evolving caprices of a legislative body to determine our fate(s).

NO! Not at all. That is not what I am saying and I listened to that debate and that is not what Mr. Romney was saying either. He said "corporations are people". Is that correct? I agree with that statement.
The armed services are people.
The air lines are people.
Churches are people.
Instead of just emoting, try thinking statements through.

yeah, until the corporation starts dumping dioxins in a river upstream of your local water treatment plant, it gets in your water supply and your kids get cancer. suddenly the corporation stops being like a person cuz if YOU did that, you'd get thrown in jail. the corporation gets fined at most. but yeah, it's true you and your family do still get to enjoy the carcinogenic benefits of all those yummy pollutants.

Why are you sidestepping the issue? You're bringing up a side bar issue concerning regulations etc. Stick to the topic at hand. Do you have more faith by lackeying up to government or in having complete freedom as an individual by working in a business/corporation?
