Default EU free speech....will soon be gone

Does this mean Ashley-Kennedy, truebrit, and others are being forced to be nice? This is really not good for free speech, but with 4 million + security cameras in Great Britain, your privacy and freedoms are slowly dwindling. And we in America complain about data mining of possible foreign terrorist communication as civil rights violations, get a clue folks.

British bloggers said yesterday that free speech on the internet is under threat from draconian new laws, which could see them jailed for up to three years.

2038 is nearing. That was a interesting movie, and as things changing in the world as they are, it could very well happen.

The opinion that the movie "1984" would never happen, well...it has in many respects.

Default .

People in the United States are more oppressed now, than when they were merely British colonies.

I still hold this statement as fact. Aside from the whole "taxation without representation" factor, we are bogged down by so many rules, regulations, taxes, and guidelines, we don't know how bad we have it. ...and it's only going to get worse, the more the people allow the government to run their lives for them.

I'm glad you see my postings as being nice because I've been made to.

By the way it's normally others who start off being nasty. They can't take it when it gets dished out. I've only had one posting edited for an "outrageous personal attack" but no profanity.

Anyway I've already commented on the lack of free speech in Britain on the western Europe Board. I shall fight them at every turn that I can.

I agree that hard won freedoms are being stolen. Which is also occurring in the US although SS argues that you never had that freedom.

Default ...

I am going to slightly shift the topic a bit and make a profound statement.
I believe that our rights have been slowly ripped from us because of the
actions of the liberals. It has been the liberals who have been slowly pushing
for governments to do this, to do that, to provide this or that for the people and
to solve and resolve the peoples problems.

In other words to be mommy and daddy. and to make sure that we all don't take
advantage of the government, the government needs you to give up a few rights
such as letting the government know more about you in enough detail to check
out your story to make sure that you truly deserve the government's aid.

You see, it's a trade off, if you are to lazy to work harder for those things
and you want the government to provide it, then you will have to give up
some privacy.

But in reality, Government was only meant to protect your rights and to provide
protection against a foreign aggression.

That's it, but the silly liberals have pushed the government to take this or that out of schools
or to take this or that out of public places, forcing a government that said from the start that
they wanted no control on such things as religion etc.

But no, we have pushed our government into areas where government should not be
involved in. which causes them to get involved in out daily lives. there's and old saying
and that is, if you don;t want to deal with something on your own, then you will have to
give power over to those you wish to handle it for you.

End of story.

Er, you have read my posts have you.

I'm the one that says you're wimps for allowing the Government to practice Kleptomania on your rights. I'm the one that says that Government is stealing your money to give out in subsidies to big Business.

Bush is stealing your rights from under your noses in the name of Patriotism, and he's no Liberal.
