Thread: FCC eliminates remnants of Fairness Doctrine

  1. Default FCC eliminates remnants of Fairness Doctrine

It's about time in my estimation. Forcing private companies to provide balanced coverage just doesn't sit right with me (though I encourage them to do it on their own certainly). On top of that, it's an interesting development for those arguing that it would inevitably come back with this administration. Turns out the exact opposite ocurred.

    Dupe:

    FCC to eliminate "Fairness Doctrine"

And I post in there, some quotes from an older thread too.

And I have to agree. About time this stopped. It should be up to the tv company to decide. Not the govt.

Say good by to NPR and PBS. Say hello to more comercials, propaganda BS news, and jewish ran TV comedy. Perhaps this will be the Corporate Media Broadcasters own demise. They will disgust so much of the American population, the world will turn to the WWW to get the real deal on what is going on. I'm all ready watching more Spanish programing than I have ever did in my life. And I must say the women are very hot, and they are more liberal when it comes to violence and excitement. They just need some real football. No need to speak the language, the images speak for themselves.
