Thread: Ron Paul's racist ties - has he done enough to separate himself?

I dont agree with Ron Paul on some things,especially his views on foreign affairs,but please lets not pull the race card.Only Liberals do that.

You mean the ones that were addressed multiple time during the 08 Presidential Elections? Sorry that bit ended years ago and he himself denied ever being part of it nor does his message that he has voted/spoke of support that conclusion that he is racist.

Paul is unelectable -- so I hope he wins the GOP nomination. But he won't. Bachmann's got it in the bag. She's crazy enough and unscrupulous enough to say anything the Rightwing Noise Machine wants. Paul is just crazy, not unscrupulous.

Why does Ron Paul need to repudiate these accusations. And still, it is not like he has thrown his support behind them like Obama has. Obama cheers their protest, they are apart of OWS and Obama support OWS gleefully.

Libertarians put the fiscal stability of the NATION above the whims and feelings of a few that think they were wronged. The libertarian would look at the McD ban in San Fran of giving a toy with a happy meal and laugh at those that bring it up. There is no need to stiffle a business because of a few people that THINK people go to McD just for the toy. Sorry, but my group that makes up 1% of the population doesn't take precidence over 100% of the country being free to do as they will as long as they don't indanger someone else.

Libertarians are for personal responsibility. If you don't like they way a company or business treats someone, you have the right to NOT shop there. Especially in the age of social networking, someone getting a bad review because they won't sit blacks in the front of a restraunt would destroy that business in MOST places.
