Default Why Obama will probably be the next president

I think Borak Obama will be the next president, because he is the biggest hypocrite even bigger then Clinton: from http://kucinich.us/ :

Quote:
Washington, DC - - Presidential candidate and US Congressman Dennis Kucinich Friday challenged Senator Barack Obama's assertion, made in an exchange with Kucinich in Thursday's Democratic Presidential Debate in Orangeburg, South Carolina, that Iran is in the process of developing nuclear weapons.

"In last night's debate, Senator Obama revealed that he has fallen into the same trap which wrongly took us into war against Iraq. In one breath he conjured Iran as a threat: ('But, have no doubt, Iran possessing nuclear weapons will be a major threat to us and to the region.')

"And in the next breath he asserted that according to experts, Iran is developing nuclear weapons. : ' . . . but they're in the process of developing it. And I don't think that's disputed by any expert.' "Where is Senator Obama's proof for such a provocative statement?" Kucinich asked.
If i there is one political candidate whos head i would want to smash with a hammer right now, its the Ubama...i don't like hypocrites... ok Hillary is another one...

From the best sources we, the American public have, what Obama says is true. With nuclear weapons now in the hands of the North Koreans and Pakistan, India, and Israel, I think it is a good guess a lot of small, pea-shooter little countries will have nukes in the next 20 years. The nuclear genie is out of the bottle - as the old saying goes. Now is the time to face reality.

As far as Obama being elected president, a lot depends upon the next 18 months. If nothing significant changes in the War in Iraq, a large portion of the votes will be pulled to a Democratic candidate - just as they were for the 2006 election. Now if Bush were smart, he would sign the Democratic budget bill and bring the troops home by 2008. That would allow the Republicans to blame the Democrats for any resulting problems, and a big weight would be lifted from McCain's head. As far as Ms. Clinton is concerned, I am one her "negative voters"...who wouldn't vote for her if she walked on water.

Since the Republican's (ie, Bush) shows no sign of ending the war soon, Obama could convince some of us swing voters that he is the one to "write a new Chapter" in Washington politics. That said, I make a special note that a lot of dark horses are still in the race...and any one of a half dozen of them could pull off a upset win at the finish line.

I'm having a hard time finding the hypocracy in his statement. Why do you feel it necessary to bash Obama to support Kucinich? That's a very Republican thing to do. Perhaps you are a Republican, and are afraid of a campaign against Obama?

Your first statement is simply a prediction. Time will tell, but I'm inclined to think that you're basing your statement on "good'ol white boys" you happen to know. That's a risky basis for political prognostication.

Your second statement, however, is presumably based on empirical evidence of some kind. Given that, it would be interesting to know what evidence you would cite.

Ms. Rice has was a disaster as the Bush administration's National Security Advisor, both before and after 9/11. In fact, if it were not for the recent all-time record set by AG Gonzales, her track record for lack of recall would stand as a record in itself. She admittedly failed to take seriously a variety of warnings in the summer of 2001 regarding a potential attack on the US. She presided over a dysfunctional office that failed to prevent the insertion of the absurd "aluminum tubes" proclamation in the President's 2003 State of the Union address. And she bears personal responsibility for spreading ludicrous claims about the imminent danger of "mushroom clouds" if the US didn't invade Iraq.

As Secretary of State her performance has been no better. In fact, her frequent efforts at "shuttle diplomacy" has only underscored her ineffectiveness. And while she has been portrayed as a counter-balance to Secy Rumsfeld until he resigned, it would be interesting to hear a single example of an effective initiative on her part to oppose Rumsfeld's disastrous policies. In fact, it would be interesting to hear a single example of her successful efforts at formulating or even influencing policy since his departure.

Although political and economic "reconstruction" is a central theme in the current "surge," Ms. Rice has in effect abandoned any responsibility for staffing that aspect of the administration's policies. Criticism of her ineffectiveness in virtually all aspects of her job, from friends and foes alike, is deafening in the diplomatic community.

In short, Ms. Rice is a somewhat more articulate version of Alberto Gonzales, an office holder whose performance in each of her jobs in the administration has been marginal or worse. Why on earth anyone would consider her to be the "best of the bunch" as a Presidential candidate is a mystery. Can you enlighten me?

listen, any politician who is blaming bush for starting the war while continnuing to vote to fund the war and claiming he didn't vote to start the war, while already falsely accusing another nation of building nuclear weapons to build a case for war is a cockroach that no words can describe. only a blind person can not see this, snap out of it.

and don't tell me Kucinich is a republican, i dont care about party names, Kucinich (aside from Gravel) is the most honest person I've seen nominated by the media yet, but he is much less nominated then 3 scumbags Hillary, Ubama and Biden...
