MILWAUKEE - Someone has vandalized a school in Milwaukee ahead of a visit from Governor Walker and threats of protests over the Governor's visit. Someone super glued the front door to Messmer Preparatory School on Milwaukee's north side before the Governor's visit.

"Some of these folks super glued our front doors at the prep school," said Br. Bob Smith, OFM, the president of Messmer Catholic Schools, about the school on the corner of North Fratney and East Burleigh Streets.

He told Newsradio 620 WTMJ that a woman was walking in front of the school Thursday, asking people to protest.

According to Br. Smith, one protester said " 'Get ready for a riot,' because they were going to disrupt the visit."

Br. Smith said that, in his opinion, the Republican governor's visit to read to students there on Friday was not about political overtones connected to protests that have been happening all year in the state regarding the rollback of collective bargaining rights for many public workers.

"People ought to start acting like adults," said Br. Smith.

"You've got little kids who have no clue what you're even talking about, and you make something political when it isn't, that's just flat-out wrong."

Kids don't know politics, don't give a (*)(*)(*)(*) about politics...

No need for adults to introduce it to them yet...

If I were as nasty as Ms Waters, I'd say "let them go to ", yet I realize that people have a right to voice their opinion.
Sadly, many confuse the right to free speech (or revolt as Ms Waters calls it) with destructive behavior all the time, whether its in Milwaukee or L.A.
I guess that sets the tea party apart from protesters (revolters) once again, and I hope one makes note of the difference whenever its called for.

Who's to say it wasn't a kid that did it? Or that it was a Lib that did it? Maybe it was a Repub who is soooo pissed that he fell for Waloch's BS and voted for him just because he had an"R" behind his name, that he/she did it.

What about Repub parents keeping their children out of school because the school was going to air OBAMA speech about how important school was?

Our football team stole a life sized statue of a cow/bull from the steak house. It was on a trailer already. Took it to the rival school and put a sign on it that said "this place is full of bull".

Kids, can't live with them, can't live without them, next generation and all, and ya gotta love em or you'd kill em.

Sorry, I seen the OP title, did not know if it was a rightie or a leftie that posted it, but had to giggle anyhow. So bad of me I know. Must be the leftie in me coming out.
But hey, I didn't keep my kids home from school because a Repub was teaching one of their classes.
