None of the candidates are really all that good on immigration.....


HOwever, if you want an actual shot at it then vote democrat as they are the party most likely to go against the business lobby which is the main pusher for collander like borders....its good for their bottom line.

Republicans will build useless fences, wastre money on surveilance and the like but those are just feel good policies that do nothing more then waste money.

Nope the answer lies with RIGOROUS enforcement of current laws and rewriting labor laws so that employers take the hit not the powerless illegal immigrant....take away the carrot and the problem takes care of itself.

Tancredo is the ONLY candidate who is tough on illegal immigration. There is no doubt about that.

While I agree with most of the Democrats stances on issues, illegal immigration is not one of them. They are a COMPLETE failure on this issue. They always have been. While about a third of Republicans and Bush, want a amnesty for the millions of illegals, almost all Democrats want a amnesty. That's the facts. Open your eyes.

And i would agree with you on Bushs' record concerning illegal immigration. Nervertheless there are actions occuring to stop the bleeding, but not treat the cause of the wound.

Useless fences? I don't care who builds it, a fence is not useless. Also, don't forget liberalman, any scum-sucking government wastes money. It's in the governments' nature because it operates outside of private enterprise. Anyway, lets get real here. These people coming across are stupid, short little peasants. A wall with snipers, Towers, the works would be 100% effective. Illegal immigration would be cut down to nothing instantly. It's just that politicians are morons and they don't listen. There are reasons for this Liberalman that you and I know but make no mistake or don't lie, a fence is not useless and a wall is certainly not.

Nobody wil stop illegal immigration in either party becasue the USA atm is too PC and both parties are more interested in the bribes(for lack of a better word) they recieve form various special interest involved in it.
Think of them as the NAACP in this. They will NEVER solve or give up an issue that garners them so much political capitol and money.
Simple as that.


IMO every illegal captured in the nation should either be bought back by their nation for x amout or they become indentured servants of the US government until they pay off x amount.

Sorry but the fact is that a wall 3500 miles long would do nothing unless we manned with just about the same number of troops we have in Iraq! This is not the 300km or so long Berlin wall but a monumental one that would do NOTHING to sole the problem. YOu can live in a fantasy world but I choose reality!

First off a wall with snipers would be an international PR nightmare and would undermine everything the US has built of over the the last 200+ years. Secondly there is the issue of the number of troops and border patrol people such a plan would need. THen there is the issue of cost of the wall, upkeep on it and the like....sorry but your entire "plan" is so pathetically full of holes...kind of like the 3500 mile long fence would be.


Oh it sure sounds good but reality has a way of making the simplistic ideas seem simple minded at best.
