Default Oil Price going up and up, again and again...

I began to wonder if all the news we heard about Middle east Oil countries are just a strategy for their oil price to go up. I would like to suggest our government that if there's a bad news about middle east oil nations and you know that there's nothing you can do about it, please just keep it to yourself. Don't announce to the media or public, all you do is helping them making the oil price going up and up, again and again.

Our oil company is also making huge profits, exxon/mobil's last year's profit is about 36 billion dollars and that's about $120.00 from each American and the sad thing is that we can't do nothing about it. The only thing we can do is asking our government to stop cooperating with those middle east oil countries.

PS. By next week, I can see $3.00 sign in every gas station in the America.

Default .

Let's put things into context.... What was ExxonMobil's profit margin, last year?

Sure, they made all that money, but they're also a global business. I'm sure your place of employment has a higher profit margin, but no one is whining about them now, are they?

Default I hope that you can afford all.

Dear BoogiePeople:

I am so glad that you can afford high gas price.

Just remember gas price can affect all prices: electricity, food, drinks, transportation, housing ....

I hope that you can afford all.

Default NORTH TO ALASKA

I just don't understand why democratics keep on opposing oil drilling in Alaska.
For the Balancing of our GLOBE, we must drill from other parts of the globe. It may sounds funny, but if you keep on eating one side of the apple, what do you think this apple will do? Unbalanced.

If we just keep on waiting, with the way technology are going, by the time we are ready, there will be other substance can replace oil, what do we do, wasting our oil field for nothing?

Let's dig and drill now. North to Alaska...

What ever gas price's are at the time we pull out of Iraq just

Default .

Here in Missouri, we have these retarded regulations where, in the springtime, all refineries have to stop production...re-gear and re-formulate their gasoline (the midwest has SIXTEEN different blends, thanks to the Imperial Government)...and then start production up again. And yes...gasoline blended with ethanol costs more than straight gasoline.

So, every spring, demand crushes supply, and gasoline prices go crazy. That's when the ignorant liberals come in and start whining about "evil" oil companies. They can't see the connection between gas prices, and crude prices. They can't see the connection between gas prices and the law of supply and demand. They can't see the connection between gas prices and world events (especially when Iran starts whooping it up). They refuse to accept that laws of inflation affect gas prices (What? You think gas prices should never go up??). They refuse to look at profit margins vs. profit (and to whomever said that profit margins are at an "all-time high," it's still only 10.74%, and that's low for privatized companies. AT&T's profit margin is over 15%, and I don't hear anyone whining about cell phone prices!). People whine about there not being enough refineries or oil derricks...where do you think the money comes from, that pays for those things? Profits.

(Here's where the bullies come out of the woodwork, over this post, waiving their "well I have a degree in [whatever], so I know everything" blah blah blah.") Whatever. Chances are, you aren't changing your driving habits, and you might even be driving one of these land yacht SUV's (oh, because you need it too). If you don't like gas prices, move to Venezuela, where Hugo took over everything. Hey, you can go also move to Britain too, where gas is $7.00 a liter.
