Agreed, but I'm not sure why y'all expected high-class people to be attending the Miss USA contest.... Or (with regards to the original poster) why you think the actions of a roomful of people at a stupid beauty contest should be taken as relevant to the country at large.

I hate these Mexican bastards......they come here, take and take and do nothing in return for this country.....screw them......pack their asses up and send them back to whatever hellhole they came from.......if they resist, shoot them like the criminals they are...........

Instead of booing the United States.....they should put their energy into improving their OWN country to the point where everybody doesn't want to leave!!

So we are the only ones aloud to boo people based on their home coutnries policies? I remember the rigthwing wastin gtime passing laws for Freedom Fries and buying French wine just so they could be photographed pooring it out. I remember numerous slams and outright racist garbage spewed about all arabs based on the actions of a small minority. I remember the deicsion to lock of Japnaese, German and Italian Americans in what amounted to our own gulags for nothing more then being from those countries....

No before any of us jump on the Mexicans for booing us we best clean out our own segment of a segment here at home....

I think that it was wrong and Miss USA was a class act. She'll probably get a career out of it.

I don't agree with this behavior, but it's a wake-up call....open your eyes people; we're hated more now than ever before - world wide. I've read posts where PF members say they don't care what other countries think of us. Thanks G.W. for your diplomatic abilities, you've done a heck of a job.

First of all it was the Miss Universe pageant, and it is mostly attended by people of influence, also you would not find it so stupid if it was your daughter or relative in the pageant.

Undoubtedly. But I don't have any relatives on the pageant circuit, and I really doubt anything other than a tiny fraction of the audience consists of friends and relatives of the contestants.
