Same sex marriage--not gay marriage. Same sex marriage does not and cannot require that the two parties actually have sex or even be sexually attracted to each other. How could it? How are you going to police it?

Same sex marriage makes the union one purely of convenience. Not just gays and lesbians, but savvy raging heterosexual military members will, in time, marry one another just for the benefits and only for as long as it is convenient for both of them. They'll continue to date and have sex with partners of the opposite sex.

Don't think it will happen? Just watch.

What you're failing to miss is that the reactions are the same for heterosexuals and homosexuals. The stages of arousal are the same. However they are reacting to the gender they find arousing, not to the idea that they are about to procreate.

The couple are reacting to sexual stimuli, what they find attractive in the other person. They become aroused by their partner, not the idea of having a child.

It seems you labor under the idea that humans have a mating season or some such.

His reaction is to sexual stimuli. Its what his body does and why it does it.

There we have it. It is a reaction to the sexual stimuli. A gay male reacts to a man. A heterosexual male reacts to a woman. The reactions are physical, the attraction is genetically based.

Why do homosexuals produce genetic reproductive material if the distribution of that material is for procreation which requires heterosexual sex?

Why wouldn't they have genetic reproductive material? Their physiology is the same as a heterosexual, the only difference is that they are attracted to the same sex.

Do you honestly believe that heterosexuals are attracted to one another because of their propensity to reproduce? Do they have sex for the sole purpose of reproduction?

Do you honestly believe sex is not for pleasure?
