But I can tell you have an emotional stake in hating him, so don't worry about all that.

OK, it's been three looooong years. Can we put away the "It's Bush's fault" BS?

It's really plain and simply. he has not done what he said he would, or could. He spent a record amount of money for any president in history in an absolute pledge that unemployment would not go below 8%. He vowed the Wall street bail out would restore the economy, he said all these things that simply have not happened.

And you worry about the competency of a guy who managed to turn around a failing national chain, raise the money to buy it and make eit even better to sell it back for a profit?

Are you comparing a marketing strategy for God father's Pizza to the CIC job?

Or are you comparing being the top guy at the Restaurant association to being President?

I doubt Cain will run.... There is something just slightly off about this.

Neither government nor Obama has promised to employ or feed anyone. That is a foolish and embarrassing thing to claim.

As for education, myself and everyone I know went to public schools and universities since before I was born and haven't suffered for it.

As for ending all your rant points, I look forward to watching you prove how that will result in a lift in the economy.

You must be talking to someone else. I didn't write Bush's name nor did I refer to him.

Of course he couldn't save the economy. I wasn't counting on it because I know he couldn't. No president could have. And of course he's going to say he can. You think he'd say, "We're screwed. Hold tight, everyone."

I'm not "worried" at all. Where did you get that?

Cain is good at business? Wow. There's about a million or more business people in America who are good too. I'm one of them! I suppose you think taking a business person out of business and putting them in government will yield business-style results? LOL!

And the band plays on. If you like Cain, great. Just don't put your money on him. He doesn't have lasting power. He's just fun for the moment. Kind of like the pre-show.

Maybe I should be President of the United States.
I have never had any sexual harassment claims filed against me..Though I really tried hard in the 70's.
I can be funny..I can shrug my shoulders and look stupid like Perry.

I can kick Obama's butt in Bowling..and my outside jumpshot is better..white guy deal.

I kissed my home coming Queen. She was black ..probably still is..and I bet that would get me the minority vote.

    I have flip floped though..
I was pro union..then went to pro business when I started my own company.I treat my chickens and workers with dignity.

We need a chicken farmer in the White House !.
    I am a loser..America loves a loser.
I am a big guy..America loves the biggest loser.

If elected I will end war..hunger .. unemployment..and the Vikings stadium issue. Ventura will be allowed back to Minnesota on alternating weekends.
All weekends will be sunny and warm by presidential order.
On my 1st day..I will put Paul in charge of our monetary policy.

    If Cain wins, big deal.

Politicians are always most popular before they enter office rather than after. After the first year of being in office, he'd become just as unpopular as Obama or Bush.

And some are given a chance to climb, but they refuse. They cling to the realm, or the gods, or love. Illusions.
Only the ladder is real. The climb is all there is."

And we could certainly use one of them in the White House.

Instead we are cursed with a public sector leach who has never held a job in the private sector and has no clue about the free market.

A businessman who understands what makes job creators tick would know what government can and cannot do.

LOL Now now......no need to lash out. As you mentioned earlier, I tell this is an emotional topic for you.

Again, the simple facts are that Big Government including the Fed can and does adversely impact the free market and resulting economy through their policies, regulatory over reach, and manipulation of currency.

I'm confused as to your position however, first you claim you can toss the whole bloated bureaucracy "on a boat" and it wouldn't affect the economy and now you seem to be backtracking......

The Obama and by implication the government indeed made such promises to employ, feed, and pay for your unemployment, starting with the debacle stimulus (promised no higher than 8% if I recall) and currently with his stalled jobs bill. His solution to jump starting the economy being massive growth of Big Brother.

Fortunately for the nation, after the mid-term repudiation, he was unable to continue with is agenda. More of his reverse Midas touch at work........LOL

    It depends.......

If he gets in with a majority in the Senate and House....... we will get to test the GOP conservative theories and abandon the failed Keynesian approach.

You are right however that he would be extremely unpopular with the Left as they see the Obamas push towards European socialism dismantled IMO.
