It has been since his desease that his delivery has been hurt.

Since that will never happen I think that piece of garbage should have his name stricken from every NFL record. No mention of him in any capacity.

Yes, I agree about the quarterback. But what place did that subject have on the Senate floor in the first place? It's a police matter......unlike many others that occur each and every day. And it will be handled by them. But for some reason Byrd felt like preaching a sermon about it on the Senate floor. He was preaching to the choir anyway....since I'm sure that 100% of the people in the country feel the same way.

Ok so wack him for taking too long talking about the incident. That is not what you first wacked the Byrd man.

You can take the senator out of the kkk but you can't take the kkk out of the senator!

Enough said, would he say this about a white person, I think not. I belive if Mr. Byrd was a republican this thread would be filled with all kinds of hate. To allow Mr. Byrd to continue serving only deepens the void between races. This man has no right to spout his hate! Maybe Mr. Byrd needs to just sit down before he calls for a blackman to be lynched. SBB, where are you on this, surely you don't think his comments are proper!

I see JP5's point. His speech was a waste of time except for giving him a chance to flaunt his "wisdom" on a subject that everyone agrees on. Who is he yelling at? He can just as well vent his anger at home shouting at the TV like the rest of us.

As for who goes to the hottest place in hell, Byrd could take a lesson from Atticus Finch.

Byrd would have been out of office for some time now if the Democrats where not complete hypocrites.

Unbelievable. This coming from a man (Sen. Byrd) that was at one time the head of the most infamous terrorist organization in the world. It was alright to kill some (*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)s, but whatever you do don't kill a dog. I thought in this country you were innocent until proven guilty, but I forgot we are judged by the other Justice System.

Clowns call for Micheal Vick to be excuted for killing a dog (allegedly), but Danny Heatley killed a team mate in ATL while driving 85mph in a 35mph speed zone he received probation, community service and got traded to get a fresh start in a new place not a wimper of outrage from the so-called community of morality, but here Mike Vic is accused of killing 8 dogs and not one person in the public has seen one shrewed of evidence proving this and folks are calling for his execution. Please someone explain this one too me.

Byrd was wrong about the racist views that he held. He's apologized many times for them. Who knows if he's being genuine or not. I give him the benefit of the doubt. There are many in the republican party with racist views, maybe we ought to put KKK before their names.

Byrd isn't a slacker, he gets his old feeble body up everyday and goes to work. Also, he believes in the constitution, unlike many in the Republican party.
