Default FBI & IRS Raid Sen. Ted Stevens Home

And they say the Bush administration doesn't go after their own.

Sen. Ted Stevens' Home Searched by FBI, IRS
Monday, July 30, 2007

ANCHORAGE, Alaska — FBI and Internal Revenue Service agents searched the home of U.S. Sen. Ted Stevens on Monday.

Investigative sources told FOX News that the FBI executed a search warrant at the Girdwood, Alaska, house. Sources would not detail what the search team is looking for, but said agents continued to do extensive work at the property late Monday.

Stevens, who was formerly chairman of the Senate Appropriations Committee, has reportedly been under investigation for exchanging federal contracts for bribes, illegal gratuities and unreported gifts from VECO Corp., Alaska's largest oil-field engineering firm.

Ain't this the jackhole who penned the "mother of all earmarks" with that multi-million dollar bridge to nowhere?

...oh...sorry...it was a bridge to, like, six people.

Throw the book at him.

Yep....that's him: the bridge to nowhere guy. Plus he made a scene on the Senate floor whining and threatening to resign if they took it away. Well----looks like he's going to get a lot more than that taken away from him. He might be lucky if he avoids some jail time.

Default Did you climb on power lines as a kid?

Even without the bridge to nowhere, if guilty, they should throw the book at him. Because of the bridge and his whining, they should throw two books.

Hell, the bridge by itself should result in jail time!

Is the bridge atleast pointing westward? It might come in handy when it comes time to invade Yakutsk.
