Every man for themselves, do what you think is right. During the depression many of the elite just coincidentally, happened to pull their funds prior to the crash. One example is Joe Kennedy. No one called him unpatriotic, as a matter of fact, after the crash Joe (richer than ever) served as Chairman of the U.S. SEC.
