Sabotage? You mean publicaly humiliate a sex fend on the floor of the Congress - then give him a pass to the SC. Dems are always vicious with sex predators like Thomas, and he can talk till the cows come, there were three witnesses besides Hill to this overcharged sexual deviate that was pawing womens crotches and watching porn movies on the job. Now he thinks denying his crimes under the Bush Administration will somehow save his sorry arse future embarrassment. Another OJ!! No free rides..................

In 1991, Thomas adamantly denied Hill's accusations that he made inappropriate sexual remarks, including references to pornographic movies. Thomas says he did talk about X-rated movies while at Yale Law School......

Thomas, 59, acknowledges that three other former EEOC employees backed Hill's version of events, but he says they either had been fired or had left the agency on bad terms.

I listened to the hearings and it was a she said he said !! The Repubs wanted a Black, Thomas was sort of qualified, they nominated him, he was sort of approved!!

Obviously you didn't watch the hearings. The man was "tarred and feathered" because he's black and he dared be a conservative.

Are you talking about Thomas or Bill Clinton? Libs loved Bill Clinton regardless. So the ONLY reason I can see they didn't like Thomas is that he is black and dared to be a conservative. Can't be stepping off the plantation, you know.

(2) the fact that she had followed him from the EEOC to the DOE after the alleged harassment had begun;

(3)assertions that she had, in fact, accused a man other than Thomas of the alleged harassment;

(4)additional testimony for Thomas by former female associates;

all of these weakened the credibility of Hill's allegations. In the end, the Committee did not find sufficient evidence to corroborate Anita Hill's claim.

The High-Tech Lynching had nothing to do with sexual harassment - it was a sort of Liberal Dred Scott event where the libs sent the dogs after a black who had escaped the liberal plantation.

The man was tarred and feathered because he sexually harrassed people and was also probably not the best man for the job. The only "racist" aspect to the entire thing was that he was the beneficiary of "reverse discrimination" that he was getting a job offer that the never would have without the color of his skin.

As I pointed out above, the charges impressed the judiciary committee as false after extensive digging into the facts. The dems intended to "Bork" him, just as they had done four years earlier to Robert Bork, another nominee rejected for the USSC on a pure ideological basis.
