Thread: Birth Certificate? Screw That! Mitt Romney Refuses To Release His Tax Records

Birth Certificate, college transcripts and thesis, senate records, etc .....concerned American citizens complained about Obama not releasing them. Well, Mitt Romney is refusing to release his tax returns in a similar fashion. Rick Perry released has already released his grades and Donald Trump has released his tax returns to show transparency to the American people. With Mitt not doing this, will this help or hurt Mitt Romney?

Facing a wave of scrutiny over his lucrative career in private equity, Mitt Romney made it clear this week that he is not going to add fuel to the fire.
In an interview with MSNBC's Chuck Todd yesterday, Romney said he has no plans to release his tax returns if he is the Republican nominee. He stuck with that line on the campaign trail in New Hampshire today.

I suppose my only comment would be that which I have received when I've asked why Barack Obama refuses to release school records. There's no law that says he has to.

What is ironic is that Obama was the first of all the candidates in the 2008 election to release his tax records.

We have to remember that what Republicans do with impunity is tantamount to a criminal offence when relative to Democrats.

As long as that is accepted, liberals should know their place.

Obama doesn't just bow to demands of that type. Look how long it took him to release the birth certificate.

There has never been anyone who graduated magna cum from Harvard, or made Law Review editor, without having straight A's, and probably a bit more. There are no affirmative action requirements at that level at Harvard

Maybe Obama is just waiting for someone to push the issue, so he can make them look foolish like he did Trump, at the perfect moment when Trump's numbers were high.

So Paul gets crap for answering the racist bs time and time again but Romney wont even release records? I hope they grill him over this.

The fact of the matter is, President Obama has consistently refused to release his academic records. George Bush did. Ted kennedy did. Not Barack Obama. Maybe he hasn't finished scrubbing them.

On the other hand, Mitt Romney, who isn't president, has to release his income tax forms. Right?
