Default McCain Delivers best line of any presidential debate

Funniest moment of any debate so far. Clinton gets some very deserved criticism. I can't figure out why McCain isn't killing everyone in the polls.

I agree, he's almost perfect for the party, must still be hurting from all the BS spread from G.W. years ago.

The problem most republicans have with McCain is in reference to immigration. I remember this outrageous comment he made;

Quote:
McCain has been getting skewered in the media for comments earlier this month to a union group in Washington, D.C., that immigrants are taking jobs no one else wants, and offered them $50 an hour to pick lettuce in the Arizona sun for a summer, suggesting they couldn’t do it http://www.immigrationwatchdog.com/?p=935
McCain is really out of touch with Americans. IMO, most repubs are out of touch with the exception of Ron Paul and his grassroot supporters.

Default Poor McCain

As he well knows, all representatives attempt to bring federal money to their states and districts. Newt was a master at wasting , er diverting, Fed funds to his district.

As he well knows, the pharmaceutical experience was particularly rampant in Vietnam where many young men came home drug addicted.

As he should know, wallowing in Hillary hate has its limitations as a political platform.

....but it was tactful and funny. I'm not saying Hillary is the worst of the lot, considering her relative inexperience she is well down the list as far as pork spending. Doesn't mean she shouldn't be criticized.

McCain is seen as pro-illegal aliens, which won't go over in the GOP. The religious right has also never forgotten his attack on them.

I like McCain and would vote for him if he gets the nomination. My criticism of him has to do with the Campaign Finance Reform bill which I always believed stifled the free speech of regular Americans--while the 527's get a free pass. I also think he comes across as not having much energy.

But I DO agree with him MOST of all of them for his stance on the Iraq war and national security.

Definitely the best line in the debate. He is one of my favorites, but I can't support him because of his immigration stance.

I don't understand. You say he's almost perfect for the party, then you say exactly what most of us have a problem with. You obviously know the truth. What's with the leftover dig from 2000?

I think McCain died in Vietnam, and the GOP has been keeping the body alive, to serve their evil purposes.

How else can he talk, without his face moving?

Accussing republicans of not having a platform, thats a good one. What was John Kerry's platform again?

Also, I disagree. We could always use more Hillary hate.
