Thread: Palin: Romney Needs To Explain His Lies On Bain

Conservatives are jumping all over Romney. Isn’t it strange how free enterprise is now a millstone around Romney’s Neck?

The Question is why Romney (a lover of free enterprise) chose to lie about the Bain Record of Jobs Won and Lost. How did he possibly think he could get away with it? Is Romney the most dangerous politician in America?

Romney has claimed to have created a 100,00 jobs at Bain, and people are wanting to know, is there proof of that claim and was it U.S. jobs created for United States citizens? … And that’s fair,” Palin told Sean Hannity of Fox News when asked about Rick Perry’s “vulture” caplitalism charge against Romney. “That’s not negative campaigning — that’s fair to get a candidate to be held accountable to what’s being claimed.”

the new angle to make this attack for republicans is to claim that the democrats will use that against him and make him unelectable (I literally just heard an ad making that very case on Rush).

essentially saying "hey I dont mind if he fires people and steals their pension, but the democrats will eat it up!"

is a habitual liar. He really is so used to lying and double talking that he often doesn’t realize that when he speaks in front of the camera he’s leaving a record of deception behind him. His Bain issue is really one of his own making.

American conservatives are a joke now. Shames the international movement.

Romney's business experience surely is.

I find it funny that almost no one is paying attention to Palin anymore. Her only relevancy came from her ruse about running for president.

Having said that, she's partially right. Bain is part of Romney's record. He should have had talking points ready for defending every aspect of it. He's really not faced that much of an attack in this campaign, but he's going to need to talk in more detail about Mormonism, Bain, his relatives in Mexico, and his Governorship before the campaign is over.

If he fails to sufficiently explain each of those major areas, his goose is cooked.

Romney deserves the same condemnation the Right pours upon citizens who use the bankruptcy laws to make profits.

Romney was the equivalent of a house flipper - he would buy a property, if it could be sold for more with a little fixup financed by a 2nd mortgage, he would grab the money.

If the house could make MORE money by borrowing 2nd mortgages to the hilt on it, sell off the fixtures, portions of the land, and anything else, and declaring bankruptcy to blow off the creditors, he would do that instead!

The usual predatory pirate businessman.

She makes the current con-didates look stupid, which doesn't take any effort, they are, but you gotta know she's keeping the campaign bus warmed up while chomping at the bit to announce and reinstate her White House run = fail X 2. SNL and comedians everywhere are feelin' the Palin love once more!

Romney could become the poster boy for predatory capitalism. Romney's Bain experience exposes the dark side of capitalism. The reason that he didn’t come up with real figures about jobs created and eliminated is because Bain represents the fact that real people take a real beating when companies like Bain shake up other companies. It shows how completely indifferent he is to job loss on a personal level. No one wants an unfeeling bastard in the presidency. Romney’s Bain experience is statement that he could care less if you lose a job. You just happen to be caught up in the ever churning wheels of predatory capitalism and that’s too bad.
