Default Boxer & Reid Politicize Fires

Dual personality Harry Reid said this as he politicized the fires:

"As you know, one reason that we have the fires burning in Southern California is global warming. One reason the Colorado Basin is going dry is because of global warming.

Six questions later, a reporter followed up on Reid's amazing statement.

Question: Senator, on the California fires, you said that the reason the fires are burning in California is global warming?

Reid: No. Here's what I - I didn't say the reason the fires were burning in Southern California was global warming...

http://www.townhall.com/blog/g/e970a...7-7e6657f251f3

Can Harry really be this dumb???

"Barbara Boxer (D-CA) issued a statement blaming none other than George W. Bush. If our National Guard units weren't in Iraq, she said, we'd have twice as many people and twice as much equipment to deal with the fire."

http://www.onthewriteside.org/2007/1...-bush-for.html
Republican Duncan Hunter set her straight though by making a statement that we have 12.5 million military under arms and less than 8% are in Iraq. And nobody is sending in the national guard into this inferno anyway----because it would be suicide. Barbara Boxer should be ashamed.

NOTHING, of course, about how California is a timber box because of them and their left-wing environmentalist base----who have filed lawsuit after lawsuit to STOP the gov't from clearing out the underbrush and timbers underneath in a desert area that they KNOW is subject to Santa Anna winds and dry conditions. The Bush administration has tried to get this done as well as control fires........but have been prevented from doing so by these Whacko's.

Not to mention, a guy on a motorcycle was seen starting the fire. I think people are really tiring of this crapola from these Dem leaders.

Default Unbelievable

Maybe this will be viewed by those on the left how absolutely insane not under clearing our forests can be. I live in this state, and it is why when I retire soon, I'm out-a-here. Too many nut jobs running it, and the nightmare of our politics trickles to all the other states, how sad it is.

But I digress, IT'S BUSH'S FAULT! Talk about polluting our atmosphere, can you imagine what's in the air from this fire? Because some loon, or it could be a terrorist, starts this fire, according to the dems, it's Bush's fault.

Don't politicians politicize everything?
*terry shavio*

I am curious about the national guard units though. Is it true that the ones who would be home fighting this fire are in Iraq?

That seems like a legitimate question to me.

True and I believe California has lost many more women and men than other states.

Default but then there's Glenn beck

http://www.latimes.com/news/printedi...-pe-california

"I think there is a handful of people who hate America," Beck said. "Unfortunately for them, a lot of them are losing their homes in a forest fire today."

and then he tries to backtrack, but the neocons will give him, the liar, a free ride.

You mean like the liberals will give Boxer the liar a free ride?

Yep.

The statements themselves clearly define whom they are pandering to......

Do you actually know how many fire fighting guard units are in Iraq?

I know your answer, because you have no idea, and neither do Boxer or Reid.

Do think because they have a military uniform on, that automatically qualifies them to fight fires? Now how ignorant is that

NO. It's absolutely NOT true. The California national guard that was called out in the beginning of these fires have already been sent home. Boxer either is so clueless she's not even aware of this....or is just outright lying, hoping that someone....anyone....will believe her.

Did Sean Penn lose his home? Don't know...just asking. And BTW, I don't listen to Glenn Beck----not even sure who he is.
