"We just can't trust the American people to make those types of choices... Government has to make those choices for people"

This the most telling statement. It crystalizes the mindset of every arrogant statist who ever lived.

Yep, you are correct, sir. You are very correct on that one.

On the other hand, at least Hillary tells you about it, up front.

These god(*)(*)(*)(*) Bush people, do it in the middle of the night behind closed doors in the Vice President's office or in the committee rooms on Capitol Hill - so the result there, is you wake up one friggin' morning and the gov's done this for you without telling you about it, like you had no idea when you went to bed last night, right?

Stinkin' god(*)(*)(*)(*) weasels, every last one of em is a god(*)(*)(*)(*) freakin' moron.....

Well, let me not go there just now (I want to save that stuff for when it really counts... ) -

But yeah, Blade, you're right on this one. I just can't understand why you can't see the exact same thing when you look over in Bushie's direction.

I dunno.... sounds about right to me.... I mean, I don't personally know Hillary or anything, never met her, but for some reason that series of quotes strikes me as "about right".

And that's not necessarily a bad thing - I mean, you know, these people who really need to get stuff done, and find that everyone else is standing in their way, they get impatient.

I know - trust me - I know exactly how this mental development works. Been there, done that. (It's part of the curse of being "reasonably intelligent", it's like, you look around at all the stupid people, and half the time you just shake your head ('cause I mean, what can you do, right?) - but there are other times when it's like, "get the F**K out my way, you moron", know what I mean?

Yeah, so I suspect "a lot" of politicians are this way, I mean, Giuliani's that way, I've heard it right from the horse's mouth with my very own two ears. And ya know, it's really "no big deal", in the global scheme of things, right?

I mean, if you look at the "spectrum of behavior" around that particular piece, you know, it's like, Bushie will stomp his foot and throw a tantrum and say "I'm the decider", and at the end of the day he's going to try to make that stick through "enforcement", and that's kinda his mindset, that's how he operates. He won't "enforce" on you "instantaneously" though, he'll do it slowly and deliberately, 'cause he wants everyone to see, he wants everyone to "get the message".

This bit about Hillary though, is more "operational", right? I mean, these quotes, paint a picture of someone who's very impatient, and trying to accomplish a lot of things in a very short time, and considers "people" just to be standing in her way.

And in that regard, she's really no different from a Dick Cheney, is she?

I love that one about Bill's d**k though, that tells me something else entirely.

It's campaign time in America, folks. But it's now campaign time every day of every year..........that's what it takes to get elected today. Expect attempted villification of any front-runner with opponents incapable of besting them (her) by any other means.

Don't know where this is quoted from, but it's a true statement. This country is far too complex and populated for important decisions to be left up to the whims of the common populace. Proper leadership is imperitive for our collective welfare, equality, and ecological survival. Forget outdated fantasies of individualism and get on board with the modern era............we can no longer tolerate excessive non-compliance.

Hillary as well as Nixon were two both with reputations for their foul mouths. Dick Morris who likes Bill Clinton couldn't stand being around Hillary.

"We're going to take things away from you on behalf of the common good." - Hillary

Oh wow....

You know, I just cringe when I hear that statist BS, it makes me wanna go hide under the bed or in the closet or something....

"The whims of the common populace"..... Jeezus H Christ, do you even know what you're saying?

Hey um.... here in America, we have this little thing called "voting", it's how the common populace exercises it's "whims". But we don't get to do it on a real-time basis, it only happens once every 4 years. And there's a reason for that, right?

"Excessive non-compliance"?

Oh my freakin' God.....

Whatever happened to Rights?

Can't you freakin' statist morons get your heads out of your collective butts for long enough to understand that the government is not my mother and father?

I don't want them to be my mother and father, or Big Brother, or anything else.

I just want them to do their freakin' jobs, as they are defined in the Constitution, which is the contract between me and my government.

Don't think for a single stinkin' freakin' minute that I'm going to let you change that contract by waving your hands over it with grandiose words like "modern era" (or "New World Order", or whatever your particular "lingo" happens to be).

That'll happen over my dead body.

(Well, hopefully not, but you know what I'm sayin', right? )

would love to have a beer with the members of her secret service detail to learn their take. second hand accounts from the JFK LBJ era were quite revealing. but i don't doubt those comments were said. i also notice the context in which they were said was not included. thus far, hillary has given me very little reason to want to vote for her. given its propensity for snatching defeat from the jaws of victory, i fully expect the democrat party to again nominate the political insider who cannot win the national election
