JPS-Did you see that Haggard voted for Bush in the last election which was just a little over 3 years ago and that wasn't very long ago for him to been on the liberal side for "some time" as you make it sound?
Yes I would have been surprised also if the conservative poster-boy, Toby Keith who was leaning toward a democrat because he is a war-profiteer. It is what made him famous to spout out war-marching songs for warhawks.
So, let's see. Haggard claims to be against the war. And Haggard claims to have voted FOR Bush in the last election...which was 2004....which was almost two years after the war began. And of course, you're buying it, eh?

Default Oh my gosh

I submit to you that most people don’t even think about or notice it. In fact, it’s never on our minds of being in danger with president Bush in charge.

What an oxymoronic question if there ever was one. We are in danger through and through with this reckless and crazy administration. We are becoming an outlaw country with the rest of the world who see us as trouble-making oil thieves. If we tore Afghanistan up to get Osama bin-Laden then it would have been understood by the world since it attacked us. But they were never able to rationalize why we attacked Iraq and neither is 70 percent of us Americans is able to.

Huh-huh, just like you are buying the crap from Bush that he is fighting terrorists and looking for bin-Laden. Like Haggard says "He know how that Texas thing goes, who the oil folks are and what they want from Iraq", and you are a Texan and of course you don't like this kind of light shining on you. Even your Moniker is about an oil.

you mean the war started almost two years before 2004? Who was president then? I guess your friend was confused when he said Bush inherited this war from Clinton.

typical neocon.

He used to not like Hippies back when Bush was a hippie himself and so was Clinton. Merle Haggard has always been on the sane side and always one to sing about pride in America. Robert Downey Jr. and Lindsey Lohan are a different story and are drug addicts. I don't recall Merle going into no detox center.

It is true Glitch, Merle remembers when coke was still a cola and a joint was a bad place to be. And when you are running down his country then you are walking on the fighting side of him {he is aware that Bush is running down the country and ruining it and making an outlaw nation out of it}. If a hard-core conservative like him is turning around and voting for Hillary then WOW! WHAT A CHANGE.
