Democrats couldn't say "Racist!" fast enough if a White candidate did what Obama does in this clip.

What of Romney came out and said, "Hey White people, vote for me because I'm the same color as you." How do you think that would go over?

It is odd that there should exist such a thing as 'African Americans for Obama', almost as if African Americans should vote for Obama simply based upon race, regardless of their individual political ideologies.

Well, that IS pretty much what happened in 2008. More blacks voted than ever before - which is cool. But they only voted so that they could vote for a black candidate - which is overtly racist, and not cool.

I'd wager that if Powell, West, Cain, or even Rubio were to be the GOP candidate, they'd likely gain more votes than a white republican would.
