Actually, no, I don't. In fact, I think most Americans are generally ignorant of medical procedures, their implications, and the literature appertaining to medical science in general. It's not a quality I ascribe only to women seeking abortions.

Have you ever talked to someone who had an abortion? Have any of them said it was pleasant, or an experience they want to repeat? This is a sick action brought to bear by sick individuals who for some reason think women are running around aborting babies like it's fashionable. It is NOT an easy thing to go through, and there is no reason to further traumatize women who make this difficult decision. There is no reason for such a disgusting law to exist.
Please do not pretend like every woman who gets an abortion is fully apprised of the procedure and its implications for their physical and emotional well-being, or that women do not have abortions for trite and shallow reasons.

Anyway, this is just my personal opinion, and I think it's an issue best left up to the states.

Ok folks here's the bottom line.

No one, other than you and your doctor should ever be involved in any medical decision you make. Period.

Actually, no, we can't, because it's been outlawed by a Constitutional Amendment, but for other things not specified in the Constitution, it's rightly a state issue.

I mean, it's not like we have to live there.

That's not the way things work...
Exactly, you don't have to live there. There are forty-nine other sovereign states to choose from. If you don't like that, then you can renounce your allegiance to our Constitution and go somewhere else.

I don't know about that. If Uncle Sam is footing the bill there can and should be limits to what we pay for.

So you're against Ubamacare? You only think government should be involved in the healthcare you want them involved in.
If it sounds like Marx and acts like Stalin...it must be Obama

MY GOD, government has no business doing that.
Interesting. So I take it you do not support the involvement of Federal government in the provision of medical procedures and care?

I would tend to agree with this statement. Voluntary interaction is the most preferable form of social organization.

With that being said, I'd think it'd be difficult to support your previous statement that you found this reasonable considering it's intrusive and not voluntary.

I reckon your reply would be something about abortion being elective, if that's the case then should we tack on psychological exams to people who want face lifts and tummy tucks?

You don't think that women know that an abortion involves removing a fetus? What the hell do you think that they think an abortion is then?

I know at least 3 women who have had abortions. Each has had one. None ever wants another. All three did not want the child yet all 3 are emotionally scared because of it. One I have lost contact with but I know that to this day the other two do not regret there decision. It is not easy, people are not just (*)(*)(*)(*)ing without condoms and aborting a pregnancy every few months. Anyone that does is a psychopath to begin with because from what I have seen and heard no sane woman ever wants to have an abortion to begin with. Please, ffs, go talk to some women before you support insane garbage like this. Hell go ask planned parenthood how many regulars come in for abortions. I'd wager the answer would be 0.
Those who support the erosion of our rights and freedom, concepts people through out history have wanted, fought for, and died for, are likely the biggest fools humanity has ever known.
