No, its not. There is still DOMA on the federal level which does not afford same-sex couples the same rights and benefits as heterosexual couples and nevermind the plethora of state benefits and rights that same-sex couples have that are not covered by civil unions.

Gays are treated like second class citizens when it comes to marriage and serving in the military. They are not afforded the same rights and thankfully DADT has been overturned. However, Santorum would do his best to reinstate it and uphold DOMA.

So. What? Just links that I do not have time to look at. Plus a brief scan shows me leftist loser O'Bama re-election support sites. Got any real news sources?

Why should we believe that's hyperbole? VA Gov. McDonnell has very high hopes of being VP on somebody's ticket and the only one I can imagine asking him to run is Santorum. We've just seen what McDonnell was willing to do to enhance his Conservative credentials - he publicly stated he would sign bills requiring transvaginal ultrasound before abortion and conferring "personhood" on fertilized eggs. Can a ban on BC be far behind?

Santorum and McDonnell are either truly religious nutters or pretending to be to get votes. I tend to believe they're pandering for votes because McDonnell couldn't back off his "religious convictions" fast enough when the (*)(*)(*)(*) hit the fan in the VA Legislature last week. Either way, NEITHER of them have any business being put in any position of authority over other people.

Yea well you know, one can only respond to Lies and Untruths in so many ways till it just get tiresome. Well we shall see soon enough if the Left's Lies and Untruths works or not, I don't think it will but we shall see.

Translation: I can't counter the direct quotes from Santorum so I'm going to attack the sources.

I would support and vote for such legislation. As long as its not called marriage, its good to go.

I agree with you that legislating perversity is a poor standard upon to rest of society. It makes me wonder why you support perverse legislative measures that makes second-class citizens out of some people.

Clearly you did not understand the question. The question is not "is there anything wrong with morality" ..

The question asks if you think the Catholic morality should be imposed on you.
