In Poland there has been a huge loss of oil from the pipeline “Plotsk-Nowa Wies Wielka”. As a result of it a gigantic slick of fuel has appeared on the surface of the river of Vistula. And now it is moving to the Baltic Sea.
But up to now, no one of European states of the Baltic Sea’s basin has any official information about the character and scale of this accident. To all seeming Polish side tries to becloud the fact of oil leak from the Polish part of oil pipeline “Druzba” for the thousandth time.
It shows everyone in Europe that irresponsibility of Polish side in this sphere creates a constant danger for our ecology and energy security. At this rate the threat of ecological disaster is unpreventable for all countries of Baltic basin. And after it how do Poles take the liberty to vaticinate about the ecological danger of future North European oil pipeline, I wonder? Well, maybe, because it is clear that the new pipeline will not be passed through Polish territory…
