I'm not so sure - when the Right realizes he might be re-elected, there's nothing they won't do to prevent it.
Nixon should have been impeached (and would have been if he hadn't resigned), Reagan should have been impeached, and George Bush should have been impeached - all for REAL high crimes and misdemeanors.
Henry Hyde said they impeached Clinton in revenge for Nixon being forced to resign and they wouldn't blink an eye about trying to impeach Obama rather than lose the election in November. Any concern about the effect on the country - or that it might be the final nail in the coffin of the GOP - would never even be a consideration to fanatics.

Biden said he would impeach Bush if he went to war without Congressional approval.
Did you say he was wrong for that?
Anarchism: Voluntary co-operation instead of forced participation
Yep- Biden was wrong.
But probably for different reasons than most are thinking.
Congress hasn't declared war since WW2- as far as I am concerned the War Powers act is a fraud. The Constitution provides that only Congress can declare war....and we have been in multiple wars, starting with Korea without Congress declaring war.
Congress could stop all funding for these undeclared 'wars' but don't have the testicles to do that...so they bluster.
I think Obama was stupid to not consult with Congress about Libya, but it isn't required under the Constitution.
The problem with marriage is that we heterosexuals are not honoring marriage sufficiently- not with homosexuals wanting to get married.
Every child a homosexual couples has is a desired child.
I should also ask if any Republicans were calling for Bush to be impeached.
